Students admitted to 5 year MD program are responsible for PRE-MED fees in addition to above listed tuition fees under the MD – 4 year program

Tuition fees are due one month prior to the month of commencement of the semester.

  • A late fee US $250 will be charged upon reinstatement.

  • A request for withdrawal must be submitted in writing, must be authorized by the Dean of Academics/ Executive Dean/ Director of Administration. The amount of refund for students who withdraw from the school in any term is:

 

On or before 15th of the month before classes begin – 100% Refund

15th of the month before until classes begin – 75% Refund

Within one week of beginning of classes – 50% Refund

After one week of beginning of classes – No Refund

STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR TRANSPORTATION AND LIVING EXPENSES.

  • Food and lodging – Food and lodging can range from $3500 to $6000 per semester depending on individual habits and preferences. Housing expenses usually vary depending on the type of apartment preferred and whether or not you are sharing with roommates. When sharing apartments with roommates rental rates can be brought down to as low as $2000 per semester. Food expenses vary, once again, depending on individual taste and habit.

  • Students must bring their own lab coats and stethoscopes.

  • UCU will help find housing for students as we have arranged accommodations with several local homeowners.

Health Insurance: The government requires that students obtain proper health insurance before they arrive on the island. There will be no exceptions to this requirement. International Student Insurance provides various links that may assist you in your search for the right insurance plan.
